Dr. James E. Kintner is a compassionate optometrist with a passion for helping patients achieve optimal eye health. He received his undergraduate degree from Pacific Lutheran University and obtained his Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of California, Berkeley, in 1989. Dr. Kintner's extensive experience includes serving in the United States Air Force and working in ophthalmology group practices. He specializes in the evaluation and management of conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetic eye care. Dr. Kintner is known for his expertise in fitting contact lenses and is a member of professional organizations such as the American Optometric Association and Optometric Physicians of Washington. Outside of the office, he actively volunteers his skills to provide vision care in underserved areas.
